Safeguarding the health & well-being of Pakistan’s communities

We work across Pakistan to deliver quality Primary Care & Public Health Initiatives

Our goal is to ensure that all communities of Pakistan are provided with high quality care to support their overall wellbeing. From emergencies such as Floods and COVID-19, to the persistent threat of communicable diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB and initiatives such as Nutrition, Antenatal Care, Midwifery, Infection Prevention and Control, Tobacco Cessation and WASH, we synergize our efforts to confront Pakistan’s leading health and development challenges.

Our Primary Care Program (PCP), launched in 2017, focuses on addressing the healthcare needs of marginalized communities in Pakistan. It integrates community engagement, family medicine, public health, and acute care to empower underserved communities and improve their health-seeking behaviors.

IHHN supports the 16 Days of Activism, aligning with the global #NoExcuse campaign. Gender disparities affect women and girls disproportionately, with unequal access to education, healthcare, and economic resources contributing to their vulnerability. Combating this issue involves participating in broader initiatives that promote gender inclusivity. It requires dismantling discriminatory practices, advocating for equal opportunities, and investing in education and empowerment programs. IHHN aims to serve as a platform to raise awareness and advocate for comprehensive measures, fostering a world that promotes women empowerment, equal rights, and opportunities for all.

Our goal is transforming communities, every day

Over 90% of household income is being consumed on food, shelter and clothing; any related health expenditure pushes thousands of Pakistani’s into extreme poverty. Through our free of cost and accessible community-based, primary care and public health initiatives, we give our vulnerable communities a chance to be safe and healthy.

At the heart of all our services is our patients and communities. Read more about their heartwarming stories below:
