IHHN Celebrates Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day Across Its Network
Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a series of spirited activities across its facilities in Karachi, Lahore, Muzaffargarh, Multan, and Badin.
The celebrations commenced on August 14 with flag-hoisting ceremonies and Guard of Honour parades. At IHHN’s Korangi Campus in Karachi, President & CEO Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Executive Director, Physical Rehabilitation Directorate, Dr. Muhammad Amin Chinoy, Dr. Farah Bari Khan, General Manager, Clinical Operations, along with senior faculty members, participated in the ceremony. At the Lahore Campus, Head of Campus Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan, Dr. Muhammad Faheem Anwar, COO North, and Dr. Tasman Ibne Rasa, CEO, LIMS, attended the flag-hoisting event.
Flag-hoisting ceremonies were also held at MIKD, RTEH, Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civil Hospital, Badin, and multiple Primary Healthcare Units across the IHHN network, bringing the spirit of Independence Day to communities and healthcare facilities across the country.
The Clinical Laboratory also celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm on August 12, bringing together staff from TLA and Woodcraft Labs across different shifts and sections. The event was attended by Dr. Saba Jamal, Dr. Adnan Zubairi, and Dr. Nazia Khursheed, along with section heads and team members. Staff enthusiastically participated in singing milli naghmay, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and patriotism. The celebration also highlighted the strong team spirit and the Clinical Laboratory’s contribution to patient care.
In the days following August 14, the patriotic spirit continued with cake-cutting ceremonies, quizzes, games, video competitions, and vibrant green and white decorations at Indus Hospital Karachi premises. This year, 20 Indus Yaqeen student volunteers also visited the Pediatric Oncology Unit in Karachi, where they distributed gifts among the young cancer warriors, spreading joy, smiles, and the spirit of Independence Day.
These celebrations across the IHHN network served as a joyful expression of unity, pride, and commitment to honouring Pakistan’s independence and reaffirming the organization’s mission to serve with compassion and dedication.
