“Empowering Local Communities Through Volunteerism and Community Development Program”

i-Hope Summer Volunteer Program at Indus Hospital Jubilee Town, Lahore
This summer, Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town Campus hosted O/A level students from various schools for the i-Hope Summer Volunteer Program, delivered across two dynamic batches. This initiative, part of the Indus Yaqeen platform, is dedicated to empowering youth by developing their leadership and community service skills.

Students embarked on insightful tours of the hospital’s OPDs, wards, and Emergency Room, guided by expert professionals. They engaged in comprehensive sessions covering empathy, fire safety, Basic Life Support (BLS) training, adolescent mental well-being, community contribution, and a hands-on Career Counseling session. Mr. Ahson Tariq, Executive Director of CRD-North, and Dr. Shafiq, COO of IHHN North, also shared their personal journeys and insights with the students.

The program culminated with impactful presentations where students reflected on their interactions with patients and the various activities they participated in. Each student was awarded a certificate of participation, marking their successful completion of the program. The students lauded the hospital’s free healthcare services, dedicated staff, and top-notch facilities, highlighting the i-Hope Summer Program as a truly memorable and transformative experience.
