Building Compassionate Leaders: IHHN Hosts Emotional Intelligence Workshop

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) recently hosted a certified workshop titled “Emotional Intelligence for Excellence,” facilitated by Sohail Zindani (CEO, Learning Minds). The interactive session highlighted the vital role of emotional intelligence (EI) in building stronger teams, effective leadership, and compassionate patient care.

Participants engaged in reflective discussions and experiential activities to explore how understanding and managing emotions can enhance collaboration, empathy, and communication in the workplace. The session equipped attendees with practical tools to strengthen emotional resilience and foster a positive, high-performing work culture.

IHHN’s Founding President, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, also graced the occasion, reflecting the Network’s enduring commitment to continuous learning and leadership development across all levels. His presence inspired participants and emphasized the value of emotional intelligence in nurturing both professional excellence and compassionate care.

The workshop encouraged participants to move beyond routine performance and cultivate emotionally intelligent habits that strengthen teamwork and align with IHHN’s vision — where patient satisfaction and employee wellbeing go hand in hand.

This initiative underscores IHHN’s ongoing efforts to invest in its people, ensuring that compassion remains at the heart of every interaction — both within the organization and with the communities it serves.
