Bridging Borders with Compassion: Dr. Maira from Indus International Denmark Visits Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore

Dr. Maira, representing Indus’ International Chapter in Denmark, visited Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore, where she witnessed firsthand the compassionate, high-quality healthcare being delivered free of cost to all, without discrimination.

She was warmly welcomed by the Communication Resource Development (CRD) team and taken on a guided tour of the hospital by Mr. Waqas Ahmed, Manager MarCom – CRD. During the visit, Dr. Maira toured the hospital facilities, observing how compassion, efficiency, and attention-to-detail shape every aspect of patient care — reflecting Indus Hospital’s unwavering commitment to dignity and excellence.

Following the tour, Mr. Waqas Ahmed gave a detailed presentation on Indus Hospital & Health Network’s (IHHN) journey and nationwide impact, highlighting how the network treats over 6 million patients annually through its hospitals, primary care centers, and public health programs.

Impressed by the scale and standard of services, Dr. Maira praised the Indus team’s dedication to delivering world-class care in Pakistan saying,

“The level of care being provided here — in such a clean, dignified, and compassionate environment — is truly on par with hospitals in developed nations. It is heartening to see such excellence at home.”

The visit concluded with a note of gratitude from the CRD team, thanking Dr. Maira for her time, encouragement, and commitment to supporting Indus Hospital’s vision.
