Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) Holds Annual Cycling Event “Ride. Bike. Save Lives. 2026” in Support of Childhood Cancer Awareness

Karachi, February 2026: Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) successfully organized its Annual Cycling Event, “Ride. Bike. Save Lives. 2026,” on Sunday, February 1, 2026. This year’s ride was dedicated to raising awareness about Childhood Cancer—an initiative closely aligned with IHHN’s mission of providing free-of-cost, quality healthcare to underserved communities.

The event witnessed the participation of over 400 cyclists from across Karachi, who came together to support IHHN’s cause and promote awareness about pediatric cancer. The event was led by Mr. Syed Mashhood Rizvi, Executive Director, Communications & Resource Development Directorate, IHHN, who addressed the participants and shared an inspiring message highlighting the critical need for sustained support in the fight against childhood cancer.

Adding a deeply emotional and meaningful touch to the event was the presence of pediatric oncology patients from IHHN, who were honored as the chief guests. These brave children presented heartfelt, handwritten cards to the leaders of various cycling groups, expressing their gratitude for the cyclists’ solidarity and support.

More than 10 cycling groups—including GG Riders, P.E.C.H.S Riders, Critical Mass Karachi, Cycologists, Free Riders, Slow & Steady, North Nazimabad Cycling Group, Wings on Wheels, Docs on Wheels, and ECKO Riders—participated in the ride, cycling through the streets of Karachi to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about IHHN’s pediatric oncology services.

The ride concluded at Port Grand, where cyclists were warmly welcomed by their families, friends, and IHHN staff. The scenic venue served as an ideal setting for the closing ceremony, which featured a special engagement session with the cyclists, courtesy of Port Grand. The venue generously facilitated parking, audio arrangements, and breakfast for the participants, contributing to the overall success of the awareness initiative.

In his concluding remarks, Mr. Syed Mashhood Rizvi expressed sincere gratitude to all cyclists, donors, supporters, and partners who made the event possible. He emphasized that with the growing demand for healthcare services, IHHN’s commitment to providing free-of-cost, quality care to over 500,000 patients each month continues to expand.
