Indus Hospital & Health Network and Team GODA Complete 9th Year of Life-Changing Orthopaedic Mission in Pakistan

Karachi / Muzaffargarh: Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), in collaboration with Team Gift of Disability Alleviation (GODA), successfully concluded the ninth year of Project GODA in Pakistan, marking another milestone in providing advanced orthopaedic care to underserved patients—completely free of cost.

As part of this long-standing partnership, volunteer medical professionals from the United States travelled to Pakistan, bringing with them orthopaedic and spinal implants worth millions of dollars. The initiative ensured access to world-class surgical care for patients who had been living with pain, immobility, and disability—many for several years.

Working closely with IHHN’s experienced medical teams, Project GODA delivered a total of 270 complex orthopaedic procedures, including knee and hip replacements, spinal surgeries, and ACL reconstructions. Beyond clinical outcomes, these interventions restored mobility, independence, and dignity to hundreds of patients, enabling them to return to daily life with renewed confidence and hope.

This year’s mission was conducted across Karachi and Muzaffargarh, expanding the reach of specialized care. In Karachi, a 15-member team performed 170 surgeries, while in Muzaffargarh, a team of 10 specialists completed 100 procedures, ensuring equitable access to high-quality treatment across regions.

The mission concluded with an appreciation dinner in Karachi to acknowledge the dedication and collaboration of Team GODA and IHHN’s healthcare professionals. While Project GODA has come to a close for this year, its impact will continue to be felt through the lives transformed—individuals now able to move, work, and live with greater independence.

Indus Hospital & Health Network remains committed to strengthening global partnerships that help deliver compassionate, specialized healthcare to those who need it most.
