Young Cancer Fighters Create Unforgettable Memories with Cricket Stars at PSL Match
Three courageous young patients Zia ur Rehman, Muhammad Ali, and Muhammad Moiz recently experienced a heartwarming day filled with joy, hope, and unforgettable moments as they met national and international cricket stars during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
This special event was part of an ongoing collaboration between Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Through this initiative, young cancer patients are invited to attend PSL matches, where they get to cheer on their favorite teams, interact with cricket legends, and momentarily escape the challenges of their treatment.
Zia, Ali, and Moiz not only met their cricketing heroes but also played a friendly game alongside them, turning their dreams into reality. The highlight of their day was presenting the Man of the Match award to Hassan Nawaz of Quetta Gladiators a proud and thrilling moment that brought radiant smiles to their faces.
These engagements are more than symbolic gestures, they reflect IHHN’s commitment to holistic care offering emotional and psychological support alongside medical treatment. Such experiences help uplift the spirits of young fighters and create positive, lasting memories during difficult times.
Every year, IHHN aligns this initiative with International Childhood Cancer Day, raising awareness for pediatric cancer and advocating for increased support and compassion for young patients and their families. Through VIP experiences, front-row access, and direct interactions with players, IHHN aims to bring joy, strength, and encouragement to children battling cancer.
Together with PCB and PSL, IHHN continues to stand in solidarity with every child and family impacted by childhood cancer celebrating their courage and reminding them that they are not alone.
