Healing Through Science: Inspiring Young Minds at Indus University Hospital, Karachi

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) , in collaboration with Science Fuse Pvt. Ltd., recently conducted an engaging “Healing Through Science” session at Indus University Hospital, Karachi, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the hospital experience for pediatric patients.

Designed to create a stimulating and uplifting environment, the session introduced young patients to simple, hands-on scientific experiments tailored to their age and condition. The activity encouraged children to explore, ask questions, and engage actively turning their time in the hospital into a moment of curiosity and discovery.

The initiative aimed to promote experiential learning while supporting the emotional and mental well-being of children undergoing treatment. The excitement and participation of the young patients reflected the positive impact of creating such interactive and joyful spaces within healthcare settings.

Conducted in close coordination with clinical teams, the session ensured patient safety while fostering an atmosphere of creativity and engagement. Indus Yaqeen volunteers also played a key role in facilitating the activities and supporting the children throughout the session.

Similar activities were also carried out at IHHN’s Jubilee Town Campus, Lahore, reinforcing the network’s commitment to delivering holistic care across its facilities.
