GOVERNOR, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA VISITS INDUS HOSPITAL & HEALTH NETWORK

Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President, Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), welcomed Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) at the Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Upon arrival, Dr. Abdul Bari personally guided the Governor on a detailed tour of the facility, which included Pakistan’s largest Pediatric Oncology unit. This was followed by a tour of the New Hospital Building and including a tour of the state-of-the-art Blood Center. At the briefing, the Governor displayed great compassion towards IHHN and its cause and emphasized his admiration for the health system in Karachi, comprising of both public and private-sector hospitals.

The Governor subsequently expressed a strong desire to develop a similar chain of high-quality multidisciplinary hospitals in KP. Dr. Abdul Bari briefed the Governor on IHHN and its expansion plans, and particularly IHHN’s vision for increasing its presence to include a hospital in KP as well.

The Governors visit highlights the growing partnership between IHHN and the Government of KP, and the significance of this in driving positive change and improving health outcomes for all.
