Critical Care Awareness Day Observed at Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civil Hospital Badin

BADIN: Critical Care Awareness Day was observed on May 18 at Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civil Hospital Badin (managed by Indus Hospital & Health Network) in recognition of the dedicated services of doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff serving in the ICU and HDU wards.

A special ceremony was organized in the hospital’s seminar hall, where the Head of Campus paid tribute to the ICU and HDU teams for their tireless efforts, professionalism, and commitment to saving precious lives under challenging conditions. Addressing the gathering, he stated that critical care staff are the backbone of emergency healthcare services, working day and night with patience, skill, and compassion to ensure the best possible treatment for critically ill patients.

Head of the Department of Critical Care Services, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Khatti, said that the critical care team plays a vital role in patient recovery and deserves recognition for its invaluable services. He also emphasized the importance of improving critical care awareness and strengthening healthcare services for patients in need.

At the end of the ceremony, appreciation certificates were distributed among ICU and HDU staff members in recognition of their outstanding services. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by doctors, nurses, and hospital staff
