Baking for a Cause! Indus Yaqeen Annual Bake Sale to Save Lives!
What a sweet ride it’s been! The much-anticipated Annual Bake sale fundraiser to support children battling cancer has ended, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible support we received. From September 27th to 29th, our stall was buzzing with excitement, filled with sweet and savory treats, and most importantly hope for the children battling cancer.
Thanks to the generosity of our visitors, volunteers, and the community, we raised essential funds to support the treatment of pediatric oncology patients at Indus Hospital. Every purchase you made, every bite you took, directly contributed to giving our young warriors a chance at life.
Over 200 young volunteers from prestigious schools across Karachi took part in supporting the cause, including Avicenna Clifton, Avicenna Tipu Sultan, CAS, Dawood Public School, Bay View High, Bay View Academy, Indus Academy, Generation School, DHACSS College, DHACSS School(Creek Campus, SKBZ campus, Seaview campus, Phase 4 Campus), Alpha College, Cedar College, Kiran Foundation, The learning tree school, Froebel Education Center School, Reflection School, Foundation Public School, MITE University, NED University, and Sohail University, actively participated. Ali Abbas, a renowned TV actor, and Warisha Azlan Shah, a famous influencer visited the stall to add star power to our bake sale and support the cause.
These amazing volunteers not only brought the food but also sold it to help the children battling cancer. Their participation and contributions made a world of difference, and we’re so grateful to have such a compassionate and supportive community. Thank you to all for making this year’s bake sale one to remember! Let’s continue spreading hope, one treat at a time!
