A Commitment to Care: Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases Celebrates World Patient Safety Day

The Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases (MIKD), managed by Indus Hospital & Health Network, proudly observed World Patient Safety Day, an event dedicated to enhancing awareness about patient safety and the rights of patients. The celebration was expertly organized by the Quality Monitoring Directorate (QMD), featuring dedicated contributions from Dr. Maryam Imtiaz, Saman Zahra, and Faiza Kanwal. Attendees included esteemed doctors, compassionate nurses, and valued patients, all united in the spirit of patient safety.

In a heartfelt address, Syed Imran Zaidi, Head of Campus, emphasized the importance of empathy in patient care. “We must not only show sympathy but also true empathy towards our patients. By understanding their needs, we can ensure we are providing them with the rights they deserve,” he stated.
