Indus Charity Day at IHHN: “Charity Begins at Home”

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) proudly celebrated its first-ever Indus Charity Day under the theme “Charity Begins at Home.” The initiative, led by the CRD Retail team, aimed to encourage internal giving and strengthen a culture of compassion across the organization.

The day began with the Retail team setting up donation kiosks at key locations throughout the hospital and conducting awareness camps in multiple departments. The team visited both clinical and non-clinical areas, where employees warmly welcomed them and generously contributed to IHHN’s mission of providing free, quality healthcare. The activity was spearheaded by Muhammad Rehan Manzoor, Regional Head – Retail, who ensured effective coordination and accessibility for staff participation.

The campaign was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President IHHN, who also made his own donation to mark the beginning of the day. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan emphasized the significance of small contributions, stating, “Our little effort—our little donation—can save someone’s life.” His words inspired strong participation across departments and reinforced the life-saving impact of giving.

The response from employees was overwhelmingly positive. Staff appreciated the convenient setup of stalls and donation boxes, the dedicated efforts of the Retail team, and the clear communication about how their contributions directly support patients in need. Many expressed pride in contributing to a cause they serve every day.

IHHN extends heartfelt gratitude to all employees who participated and to the Retail team for organizing a smooth and impactful activation across the hospital premises. The spirit of “Charity Begins at Home” continues beyond Indus Charity Day, as employees and well-wishers are encouraged to support IHHN through official donation channels or by contacting the Donor Relations team for guidance.
