Tee Off for a Cause: Supporting Emergency & OPD Services at Indus Hospital

Lahore, January 26, 2025 – The scenic fairways of Royal Palm Golf & Country Club Lahore played host to the 10th Annual Fast Cables-Indus Hospital Golf Tournament 2025, where sportsmanship and philanthropy came together in support of Indus Hospital & Health Network’s (IHHN) Emergency and OPD Services.

This year’s tournament brought together corporate leaders, golf enthusiasts, and philanthropists, all committed to making quality healthcare accessible to underserved communities. The Four-Ball Texas Scramble format ensured an engaging and competitive day on the greens, with participants striving for excellence while championing a noble cause.

Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN, expressed his gratitude to the participants and sponsors:

“This tournament is a testament to the power of collective goodwill. Your support today will directly impact thousands of lives, ensuring they receive free, world-class healthcare.”

Dr. Shafiq Haider, CEO North, IHHN, highlighted the significance of the initiative:

“Events like these go beyond the game—they serve as a lifeline for countless patients who rely on IHHN for critical medical care. The generosity and enthusiasm displayed today reflect the unwavering commitment of our supporters to a healthier Pakistan.”

Funds raised through the tournament will help IHHN provide life-saving medical care to over 500,000 patients every month across Pakistan. The event also spotlighted the expansion of IHHN’s flagship Korangi Campus in Karachi, which is set to grow from 300 beds to a state-of-the-art 1,350-bed tertiary care hospital—an essential step in addressing Pakistan’s rising healthcare needs.

Mashhood Rizvi, Executive Director of Communications & Resource Development at IHHN, underscored the impact of the tournament:

“Each drive and putt today brings us closer to a healthier Pakistan. With the unwavering support of our sponsors, participants, and partners, we are building a future where quality healthcare is a right, not a privilege.”
