World Patient Safety Day 2025 at Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore

The Quality & Monitoring Directorate at the Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore commemorated World Patient Safety Day 2025 with a series of impactful activities aimed at promoting a culture of safety and shared responsibility in healthcare delivery.

To engage both the public and healthcare teams, interactive awareness sessions were conducted across the Outpatient and Inpatient Departments. These sessions focused on critical topics such as antenatal care, safe practices for newborns and children, and the essential role of timely vaccination.

Participants also explored the Ten Steps of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative and the importance of hand hygiene in infection prevention. This was a simple yet powerful practice, central to safe, quality care.

A major highlight of the day was the World Patient Safety Day Awareness Walk, where hospital leadership and staff came together showing solidarity and commitment in prioritizing patient safety and promoting reliable, people-centered healthcare.

The day concluded with the flagship event, “Karwan-e-Fikar”, a thought-provoking session that featured inspirational messages from hospital leadership, a detailed presentation on maternal and child health, and a dynamic panel discussion. Leaders and clinical experts reflected on current challenges in patient safety, shared practical strategies to address gaps, and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening systems that ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Through these initiatives, IHHN strengthens its commitment to a safer healthcare environment, empowering patients, supporting providers, and building trust through excellence in care.
