World Nutrition and Hydration Week Concludes at RTEH Muzaffargarh

Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital (RTEH), Muzaffargarh, successfully concluded World Nutrition and Hydration Week, raising awareness about the importance of a balanced diet and proper hydration. Nutritionist Maira Zainab and Dietitian Ms. Sidra conducted informative sessions in wards and OPDs, educating patients and attendants.

The event culminated in a beautifully arranged stall, displaying a variety of grains, fruits, and nutritious foods to provide the public with valuable insights into healthy eating habits. Additionally, printed diet education materials were available to further enhance awareness and encourage better nutrition choices.

Dr. Irfan Javed (Head of Campus) emphasized that proper nutrition and hydration are fundamental to overall health, helping to improve immunity and prevent deficiencies. Dr. Shiraz Hassan (Medical Director) highlighted that a healthy diet helps prevent conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and other lifestyle diseases.

The presence of clinical and management members reflected the hospital’s commitment to promoting community health and well-being.
