World Emergency Day Celebrated at Dr. Sikandar Ali Manshro Civil Hospital Badin

Badin: World Emergency Day was celebrated at Dr. Sikandar Ali Manshro Civil Hospital Badin, managed by Indus Hospital & Health Network. The event was organized to highlight the importance of emergency medical services and recognize the dedication of healthcare professionals working in emergency care. The ceremony was attended by doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and patients. Speaking on the occasion, Emergency Departmeent (ER) Incharge Dr. Zohaib Abbasi shed light on the vital role of the Emergency Department in providing immediate and life-saving medical care. He stated that the ER operates round the clock to ensure timely treatment for patients facing critical health conditions, accidents, and other emergencies. He emphasized that quick response, teamwork, and modern medical facilities are key factors in saving lives and improving patient outcomes.

Addressing the gathering, Medical Director Prof. Dr. Salman Imtiaz highlighted the significance of emergency healthcare services in any healthcare system. Later, Head of Department Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Dr. Naeema Irfan, addressed the audience and stressed the importance of emergency services in maternal and neonatal healthcare. She also appreciated the coordinated efforts of different departments in providing comprehensive emergency care.
