Secretary Health Department, Balochistan, Visits Indus Hospital to Explore Facilities and Services
Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) was privileged to welcome Mr. Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Secretary of the Health Department, Balochistan, on November 12, 2024. The visit highlighted IHHN’s commitment to providing exceptional healthcare and its dedication to expanding access to quality medical services across the country.
Mr. Mujeeb ur Rehman, accompanied by his team, visited the Pediatric Wards, Pediatric Oncology Wards, and Intensive Care Units (ICUs) in the hospital’s old building. He then toured the newly inaugurated facility, including the Emergency Department and Blood Centre, where he observed IHHN’s advanced medical infrastructure and patient-centric services.
During the visit, Prof. Syed Zafar Zaidi, CEO of IHHN, delivered an insightful briefing on Indus Hospital’s initiatives and services. Dr. Zaidi highlighted the organization’s efforts in Balochistan, including the pivotal role of the China-Pakistan Friendship Hospital in Gwadar, Pediatric Oncology Unit at Sheikh Khalifah Bin Zayyed Hospital, Quetta and other healthcare projects designed to address the region’s healthcare challenges.
This visit further solidifies IHHN’s partnership with government stakeholders, emphasizing collaborative efforts to strengthen healthcare systems and provide free, high-quality care to underserved populations. The Secretary’s engagement reaffirmed the shared mission of making healthcare accessible to all, reflecting IHHN’s unwavering dedication to transforming lives through compassionate care.
