Expanding Access to Primary Healthcare at Public Welfare Hospital, Sui

The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) continues its commitment to accessible and quality healthcare with the launch of Family Medicine Containers at Public Welfare Hospital, Sui. This initiative aims to strengthen primary healthcare services and bring essential medical care closer to the surrounding community.

These purpose-built Family Medicine Containers are equipped with consultation rooms, a laboratory, pharmacy, and a reception area, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care under one roof. With the capacity to serve approximately 600–700 patients daily, the facility is supported by a dedicated clinical team comprising three consultants and four medical officers, delivering patient-centered care with dignity and compassion.

This initiative has been made possible through the valued support of the Community Health Directorate Department, reflecting a strong collaborative partnership focused on improving healthcare access for underserved populations.

Dr. Masood Qadir Nosherwani, Head of Campus, stated that the establishment of the Family Medicine Container facility at Public Welfare Hospital, Sui, will significantly strengthen the delivery of primary healthcare services in the region. He added that the new facility will help cover the essential health needs of Sui and its surrounding areas by providing timely consultations, diagnostic services, and access to medicines under one roof. He further emphasized that this initiative reflects IHHN’s commitment to expanding primary care through sustainable and innovative healthcare models, improving continuity of care, and reducing the burden on secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities.

At the Indus Hospital & Health Network, we believe that strong primary care forms the foundation of healthier communities. The Family Medicine Containers represent another step forward in IHHN’s mission to provide free, high-quality healthcare while serving patients with respect, empathy, and excellence.
