Unilever Pakistan Hosts Arts and Crafts Activity for Pediatric Patients at Indus Hospital

Unilever Pakistan organized a delightful arts and crafts activity at the pediatric play area of Indus Hospital’s Korangi Campus on June 13, 2023. The event aimed to bring joy and creativity into the lives of young patients undergoing treatment and provide a much-needed distraction from their ongoing medical treatment. A group of enthusiastic interns from Unilever dedicated their time to engaging with the children through various artistic endeavors, including painting and decorating bags, canvases, masks, and plasters shaped as flowers, hearts, plants, animals, and other playful figures. 

The event provided the young patients with an opportunity to unleash their imagination and artistic skills. The colorful creations they made served as souvenirs, reminding them of the memorable, fun-filled time they had at the hospital.

Speaking about the initiative, Rida Sarwar Maniar, Assistant Manager, Talent and Organization Development, Unilever Pakistan, emphasized the organization’s commitment to giving back to society and supporting the underprivileged, “Unilever Surf Excel’s brand ‘Khushiyon ka Sadqa’ revolves around the idea of spreading happiness to others. Today, we are here at Indus Hospital with our interns, who are gaining valuable experiences while instilling an important message of meaningfulness. The whole experience is truly wholesome.”

Expressing gratitude towards Indus Hospital, she added, “Indus Hospital is doing an amazing job in providing care to children suffering from cancer and various other ailments. We are honored to be a part of Indus’s initiatives and impact.”
