A Day of Joy; A Lifetime of Confidence. IVY School Welcomes Indus Hospital’s Cochlear Implant Patients for Their Field Day.
The IVY School welcomed Indus Hospital & Health Network’s cochlear implant patients to their Field Day to mark the International Cochlear Implant Day. Their commitment to creating an inclusive environment, ensuring that children with hearing and speech impairments are not just seen but celebrated, included, and empowered, resonates with our Indus Yaqeen’s mission of raising a generation that sees no one as lesser, a generation that embraces empathy, kindness, and inclusion.
For these young warriors, who have battled in silence because of their inability to hear or to speak, embraced the world of sounds and words through Indus Hospital’s Cochlear Implant Program, this day was more than just sports and games. It was about belonging – about feeling just like any other child, running across the field, cheering for friends, and capturing moments of pure joy.
As the echoes of laughter filled the air and our cochlear implant warriors experienced a day of fun, friendship, and confidence, it was clear—this is the future we are working towards ‘A world where no child feels different, only equally capable of achieving their dreams.
