Indus Yaqeen Volunteers team up with Total PARCO to promote Road Safety!

Indus Yaqeen volunteers, in collaboration with Total PARCO Pakistan, have launched a remarkable Road Safety & Security awareness campaign in Karachi. This initiative aims to prevent life-threatening road accidents happening every day, by educating 2- and 4-wheel vehicle users about safety measures which they can undertake. These include, wearing helmets and avoiding cell phone usage whilst driving to lower the number of Emergency Department (ED) visits. Stationed at multiple Total PARCO fuel stations across the city, the enthusiastic volunteers provided counseling to drivers and vehicle owners, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic rules.

Moreover, these dedicated volunteers went an extra mile and raised funds at the service stations to support the free of cost healthcare being provided at the Emergency Departments of Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). By carrying donation boxes at the Total PARCO stations, Indus Yaqeen volunteers successfully raised funds to help provide crucially needed care to over33 patients IHHN’s Emergency department.

IHHN is grateful to the youth volunteers and Total PARCO for their unwavering support in assisting those in dire need of medical attention.
