National Dissemination Session: Advancing Family Planning and Maternal Health in Pakistan
The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), in collaboration with UNFPA, concluded the year with a significant National Dissemination Session. This event highlighted the findings of two pivotal assessments conducted nationwide, focusing on the availability of family planning (FP) commodities and maternal health services. These assessments provide actionable insights to bolster healthcare systems across Pakistan.
The session brought together senior officials from provincial Population Welfare and Health Departments, federal government representatives, and leading development sector experts in maternal health, family planning, and reproductive health. This distinguished gathering emphasized the critical role of collaboration, data-driven strategies, and collective action in addressing Pakistan’s healthcare challenges.
As 2025 begins, this session represents both the culmination of meticulous efforts and the launch of renewed initiatives aimed at ensuring equitable healthcare access for all, particularly in underserved regions. IHHN remains steadfast in its commitment to creating a brighter, healthier future for women and families across Pakistan.
