IHHN Strengthens Its Healthcare Network with Margalla Hospital Islamabad

The Indus Hospital & Health Network has achieved another significant milestone with the addition of its 13th hospital, further expanding its commitment to providing accessible, quality healthcare services to communities across Pakistan.

Margalla Hospital Islamabad is a 160-bed secondary care hospital that offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and critical care services, further strengthening IHHN’s growing healthcare network and expanding access to quality healthcare for patients in Islamabad and surrounding communities.

The hospital will provide services across multiple specialties, including Family Medicine/Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Paediatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. The facility will also have operation theatres, an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), High Dependency Unit (HDU), Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The addition of the hospital further strengthens IHHN’s growing healthcare network and expands its capacity to provide comprehensive care across different levels of healthcare delivery. With a focus on patient-centred care, clinical excellence, and accessibility, the facility will serve as an important addition to healthcare services in Islamabad and surrounding communities.

The development of the hospital follows IHHN’s partnership with the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Government of Pakistan, under a public-private partnership model to manage and operate the facility.

With the addition of Margalla Hospital Islamabad, IHHN’s healthcare network now comprises 13 hospitals, further strengthening its nationwide presence and its mission to provide quality healthcare to all, regardless of their ability to pay.
