Serving for a Cause: IOBM and Padel Grove Host Padel Tournament for Indus Hospital

The Institute of Business Management (IOBM), in collaboration with Padel Grove , organized a vibrant one-day padel tournament on April 18, 2026, in support of the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), bringing together sports enthusiasts for a meaningful cause.

Hosted jointly by IOBM and Padel Grove, the tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 108 players , making it a lively and competitive event. Matches were played across four categories: Men’s Doubles (Intermediate), Men’s Doubles (Beginners), Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, allowing participants to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President, IHHN Mr. Talib S. Karim , President, IOBM,, and Sarosh Afzal Vice Chairman & CEO, Padel Grove, who appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of community-driven efforts in supporting quality healthcare.

Also present on the occasion were Ms. Sabina Mohsin , Vice President (FHE) & Chief Advisor, IOBM; Ms. Kashang Afzal , Co-Founder, Padel Grove; Mr. Mohsin Furquan; Mr. Nabhan S. Karim , HoD Marketing & Communications (MARCOM), IOBM; Hassan Irfan, Head of Sports & Student Societies Department, IOBM; Mr. Kamran Farooqui, Chief Operating Officer, Padel Grove; and Mr. Hamid Zahid, Partnerships Executive, Padel Grove. Their presence added value to the event and reflected the shared commitment of IOBM and Padel Grove to promoting social responsibility through sports.

The tournament not only encouraged healthy competition but also reinforced the spirit of giving back, as participants and organizers from IOBM and Padel Grove came together to support a noble cause.
