Indus Hospital & Health Network Annual Report 2023-24: A Year of Growth, Impact, and Resilience
The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) proudly announces the release of its Annual Report 2023-24, highlighting a remarkable year marked by growth, resilience, and transformative healthcare services across Pakistan.
In 2023-24, IHHN treated over 6 million patients through its extensive network, which includes 10 multidisciplinary hospitals with over 1,600 beds, three physical rehabilitation centers, four regional blood centers, 64 primary care sites, and a wide array of primary healthcare initiatives.
The Indus Hospital Korangi Campus, the cornerstone of our network, continues to lead with seven core service lines, ensuring consistent and high-quality care. With a completely paperless and cashless system supported by integrated Electronic Medical Records (EMR), IHHN remains dedicated to delivering world-class healthcare services.
This year, IHHN achieved several notable milestones. The pediatric oncology program treated over 14,000 children since its inception in 2017. Physical rehabilitation services were extended to over 23,400 patients, transforming lives through 27,000+ physical therapy sessions and 4,000 prosthetic and orthotic devices. Our cochlear implant program conducted multiple surgeries under the speech and audiology initiative to enhance patients’ hearing and communication.
A nationwide blood donation campaign addressed Pakistan’s critical blood shortage. Accredited by AABB and CAP, IHHN is now the only hospital in the SAARC region to hold these prestigious distinctions, with the capacity to manage over three million blood units annually.
The year’s impact is further highlighted by 2.1 million outpatient visits, 120,000 inpatient visits, 66,000 surgeries, 14,000 safe deliveries, 3.9 million diagnostic tests, and 666,000 emergency visits conducted across all hospitals owned and managed by IHHN.
As we celebrate our achievements, IHHN remains committed to expanding its healthcare services and enhancing community well-being. The inauguration of Phase One of our new 1,350+ bed hospital campus marks a significant milestone. The Emergency Room, Family Medicine OPD, and consulting clinics are now fully operational, providing excellent care to patients.
With plans to increase capacity to 500 beds by June 2025, IHHN is poised to make an even greater impact on healthcare in Pakistan, empowering communities with access to quality medical care and innovative solutions. Stay tuned for updates as we continue our journey to provide healthcare for all, especially the underserved.
