IHHN Hosts AI Conference Under National Initiative – Indus AI Week 2026

Karachi – Indus Hospital & Health Network organized a significant AI conference as part of its contribution to the national-level initiative, Indus AI Week 2026. The conference brought together leading industry experts, technology innovators, and academic professionals to explore the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare and its practical implementation across sectors.

The event featured insightful sessions by distinguished speakers including Fahad Khan, Chief Strategy Officer at AI Genics, who discussed AI computing requirements on the cloud. Syed Mansoor Ahmed, CEO of TENSORMINDS PRIVATE LIMITED and CTO of TENGEN PRIVATE LIMITED, highlighted application development and the challenges faced during implementation. Waqar Mehboob Khan, Founder and CEO of PRAID AI, emphasized that healthcare AI is not merely software but critical infrastructure. Dr. Imran, Co-Founder of Duo Impact Health Inc, shared practical insights on where AI should be applied in healthcare and where its limits must be recognized.

The conference also included a dynamic panel discussion featuring Arif Ali Arian, Head of Department of Pharmacy at IHHN; Dr. Lubna Aziz, Head of Artificial Intelligence at Iqra University; Dr. Rizwan Qureshi, Associate Professor at Salim Habib University; and Muhammad Shahid Sheraz, Group CIO, Ztech Division at Dr. Ziauddin Group. The session was moderated by Mr. Shakeel Akhtar, CIO – IHHN, who guided an engaging discussion on AI governance, infrastructure readiness, and the future of digital transformation in healthcare.

The conference reaffirmed IHHN’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and advancing responsible AI adoption to strengthen Pakistan’s healthcare ecosystem.
