IHHN Hosts “Khushiyon Ka Eid Bazaar” 2024!

Indus Hospital recently hosted its fourth annual ‘Khushiyon Ka Eid Bazaar’ at its Korangi Campus in Karachi, specifically for pediatric patients undergoing treatment. This special event, organized during the last week of Ramazan, aims to ensure that these young patients can experience the joy of Eid, despite their illnesses.

The main goal of the Bazaar is twofold: to allow the children to participate in Eid celebrations they might otherwise miss out on, and to give their parents the opportunity to witness their children enjoying these moments of happiness, which are often scarce due to the challenges of treatment and financial strain.

This year, the event welcomed over 1800 children, who eagerly engaged in various activities and enjoyed shopping for Eid essentials such as clothes, shoes, jewelry, toys, and other accessories. They even had the chance to get beautiful mehendi designs applied. To add to the festivities, snacks and food items, including ingredients for sweet dishes, were provided for the patients and their caregivers to take home, all free of charge.

In a new initiative, Indus Hospital also extended the Eid celebrations to adult patients, distributing generous bags filled with Eid gifts. Additionally, over 250 caregivers of neonatal patients were given Baby Care Kits to help alleviate their financial burdens by providing essential items. These gestures were also provided completely free of cost.

These initiatives are just a glimpse of the holistic approach taken by Indus Hospital & Health Network to ensure the wellbeing of its patients and their families. By organizing events like the ‘Khushiyon Ka Eid Bazaar’ and extending support to our patient’s families, Indus Hospital is strengthening its commitment to prioritizing joy, dignity, and support for those in need.
