IHHN Faculty Represents Pakistan at the EMEA Surgical Outcomes Summit 2026

Dr. Ghina Shamsi (Head of Department, General Surgery; Consultant, Surgery & Allied Services; Associate Dean, IUHS) represented Pakistan at the prestigious EMEA Surgical Outcomes Summit 2026 hosted by the Johnson & Johnson Institute.

Held under the theme “An Evidence-Based Framework for Better Wound Healing,” the two-day summit convened an internationally renowned faculty and healthcare professionals from the Middle East, Europe, North Africa (MENA), and Pakistan to address contemporary challenges in surgical wound care and outcomes.

The summit featured in-depth discussions on the clinical, economic, and environmental impact of surgical site outcomes, while also exploring the transformative role of digital innovation in enhancing patient care and surgical practices.

Key highlights of the summit included:
