IHHN and HMS Education System Partner to Empower Youth for Social Impact.

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the HMS Education System on December 5, 2024, to further strengthen its youth engagement initiatives and promote social responsibility among students. The MoU was signed in a ceremony attended by Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN, along with key members from both organizations. This collaboration aims to empower the students of HMS Education System to contribute positively to society by participating in IHHN’s Indus Yaqeen – Youth Volunteer & Ambassador Program, which provides students with opportunities to get involved in health awareness, fundraising events, and community outreach programs.

Under the agreement, students from various grade levels at HMS Education System will have the chance to learn about the healthcare challenges in Pakistan and the impactful work being done by IHHN. The Indus Yaqeen program will serve as a platform for students to channel their skills and passions toward raising awareness about pressing health issues in the country, as well as mobilizing support for IHHN’s life-saving initiatives. The collaboration will also offer students the opportunity to directly participate in fundraising events such as charity drives, health camps, and educational campaigns aimed at improving healthcare access for underserved communities across Pakistan.

Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, during his address at the signing event, highlighted the importance of youth involvement in making a tangible difference in society. He encouraged the students to step up as leaders and ambassadors for health and social change, ensuring that their contributions help improve the well-being of countless individuals in need. This partnership between IHHN and HMS Education System is a significant step towards fostering a generation of socially responsible and compassionate youth, who will play a crucial role in shaping a healthier, more equitable future for Pakistan.
