When Dreams Take the Field – Young Cancer Fighters Meet Their Cricket Heroes
In a moving celebration of courage and compassion, young cancer survivors from Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) were given a once-in-a-lifetime experience of meeting their cricket heroes during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches on April 25, 2026.
Marking the day as Golden Ribbon Day, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) invited young cancer survivors from IHHN as special guests. Players from Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, and Peshawar Zalmi warmly welcomed them into the heart of the action.
From stepping onto the field for the coin toss to interacting closely with cricketers, the children were not mere spectators—they were celebrated participants. They shared smiles, captured moments, and made memories with their favorite players that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Indus Hospital & Health Network extends its heartfelt gratitude to the PCB and PSL management for making this meaningful initiative possible. By bringing these children closer to their heroes, the platform created a powerful reminder that while cricket unites millions, its greatest impact lies in moments like these—where on-ground heroes inspire real-life warriors.
