Celebrating Eid with Care: Indus Eidi Spreads Happiness Among Young Patients
The blessed month of Ramazan culminates in the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr—a time of happiness, generosity, and togetherness. However, for many pediatric patients at Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), who are undergoing treatment for serious health conditions, this joy can often feel distant. At IHHN, care extends beyond medical treatment, reflecting a deep commitment to compassion and humanity.
Launched in 2023, the Indus Eidi program continues to bring smiles to young patients by ensuring they can experience the joy of Eid while receiving life-saving care. The initiative enables the generous contributions of donors—through Zakat and Sadqah—to be multiplied through sponsorship, allowing children not only to access free, quality healthcare but also to celebrate Eid with gifts and happiness.
Building on the success of previous years, the program continues to make a meaningful impact. Last year, IHHN supported 3600+ pediatric patients through consultant clinic services. In addition, 300 Eid gifts were received in-kind and distributed among children, adding moments of joy during a challenging time in their lives.
Continuing this spirit in 2026, the Indus Eidi initiative marked another milestone. On March 22, 2026, a total of 200 Eid gifts—including clothing, toys, books and stationery items—were distributed among pediatric patients. This thoughtful gesture ensured that children receiving treatment could also share in the celebrations of Eid. Collections for pediatric patient treatment under Indus Eidi is currently ongoing.
The Indus Eidi program reflects the core values of compassion, dignity, and inclusivity. By combining healthcare with moments of happiness, IHHN continues to create a supportive environment where every child feels cared for—not just as a patient, but as part of a larger family.
