11th IHHN – Fast Cables Golf Tournament (Islamabad Leg) Held in Support of Emergency Response Services
The 11th IHHN – Fast Cables Golf Tournament (Islamabad Leg) was successfully held at the Islamabad Club, bringing together around 100 golfers from Islamabad’s vibrant golfing community for a shared humanitarian purpose—supporting Indus Hospital & Health Network’s Emergency Response Services.
Organized by Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) in collaboration with Fast Cables, the annual fundraising tournament united participants from diverse professional backgrounds, reflecting the capital’s strong tradition of service, leadership, and civic responsibility. Proceeds from the event will support IHHN’s emergency services, which provide free, round-the-clock lifesaving care to critically ill and injured patients across Pakistan.
The tournament was played in the Individual Stableford format, encouraging competitive yet inclusive play, and allowing golfers of varying skill levels to participate while contributing to a noble cause.
Senior leadership from Indus Hospital & Health Network attended the event, including Mr. Pervez Ahmed, Executive Director, Business Development, Communication & Resource Generation Directorate, Mr. Tariq Azam, Executive Director – North, Communication & Resource Development Directorate and Dr. Mah Talat, Executive Director, Community Health Directorate, IHHN, who interacted with participants and appreciated their continued support for IHHN’s mission.
An overview of IHHN’s nationwide impact and the critical role of donor-supported emergency care was presented by Mr. Zaki Rizwan Usmani, General Manager, Communication & Resource Development Directorate. The presentation highlighted how emergency response services often serve as the first line of care for accident victims, trauma patients, and medical emergencies—playing a vital role in saving lives.
Speaking at the occasion, IHHN leadership expressed heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors, partners, and the media partner, as well as participating golfers and supporters, for their generous contributions and unwavering commitment to humanitarian healthcare. The leadership emphasized that sustained community and corporate support enable IHHN to respond swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies.
The Islamabad leg of the Fast Cables Golf Tournament continues to be an important platform for promoting sportsmanship, camaraderie, and collective responsibility toward strengthening accessible emergency healthcare services.
