Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Visits GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital Under New Management
Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, along with Additional Secretary of Maritime Affairs, Umar Zafar Sheikh, and Chairman of Gwadar Port Authority, Mir Pasand Khan Buledi, paid a visit to the GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital, now under the management of Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN), on May 4, 2024.
During the visit, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Affan Faiq Zada, Head of Campus at GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital. They toured various sections of the hospital, where Dr. Zada provided a comprehensive briefing on the available facilities and those planned for the near future.
The delegation commended the efforts of the hospital management and expressed optimism that the recent transfer of the state-of-the-art hospital, developed with support from China, to the management of IHHN would not only benefit the people of Gwadar but also extend its advantages to the entire Makran region. IHHN is renowned across Pakistan for its superior and high-quality healthcare services, all provided to patients completely free-of-cost.
Also present during the visit were Chief Engineer of GDA, Haji Syed Muhammad, Project Director of PCFH, Doda Khan Mari, and other officers.
