IHHN Advances Digital Health Innovation at Health Asia 2026

Indus Hospital & Health Network participated in the 23rd Health Asia International Exhibition & Conference, held at the Karachi Expo Centre. Organized by the Pakistan Center for Digital Health in collaboration with the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations & Coordination and Health Asia, this year’s event brought together healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the region to explore innovations shaping the future of healthcare.

As part of the event, IHHN’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) team participated in the Workshop on “EMR/HMIS Digital Health Maturity,” held on September 12, 2026, at the Congress Centre. The workshop brought together digital health leaders and institutions to discuss strategies for advancing electronic medical record systems and health management information systems across Pakistan.

Representing IHHN, Ms. Kafeel Naz, Deputy General Manager – Electronic Medical Records, delivered a presentation titled “ICD-11: A New Era of Health Information and Disease Classification.” The session explored the transition to ICD-11 and its impact on clinical documentation, coding accuracy, and interoperability, underscoring the importance of standardized health information systems in improving patient care and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Through its participation, IHHN’s EMR team reinforced its role as a leading contributor to the digital health ecosystem in Pakistan, sharing its expertise in medical coding, health information systems, and clinical documentation with fellow professionals and institutions.
