Indus Hospital & Health Network Named Finalist in Prestigious IHF Awards 2026
Karachi: Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) has been named a finalist in the International Hospital Federation (IHF) Awards 2026, one of the world’s most respected recognitions of excellence in healthcare leadership, innovation, quality, and sustainability.
The announcement places IHHN among an elite group of healthcare organizations shortlisted from more than 750 entries submitted by hospitals and healthcare institutions across 38 countries and territories. This year, the IHF Awards shortlisted 59 finalists across eight award categories, recognizing outstanding achievements in hospital management, clinical excellence, patient safety, workforce wellbeing, operational performance, environmental sustainability, and healthcare leadership.
Being selected as an IHF Awards finalist reflects IHHN’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare while advancing innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable healthcare practices.
The IHF Awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious global platforms celebrating excellence in hospital leadership and healthcare management. Finalists are evaluated through a rigorous international review process conducted by 62 healthcare leaders and senior executives from around the world, with submissions assessed for innovation, impact, scalability, scientific rigor, and clarity.
The IHF Awards recognize excellence across eight categories: the Dr Kwang-Tae Kim Grand Hospital Award, Clinical Quality and Patient Safety, Healthcare Workers’ Wellbeing, Hospital Operational Excellence, Leadership and Management, Low-Carbon Healthcare, Social and Environmental Responsibility, and Hospital Sustainability Acceleration
According to the International Hospital Federation, this year’s shortlisted projects and programmes represent some of the most innovative and impactful healthcare initiatives worldwide, demonstrating resilience, collaboration, and a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes despite increasing global healthcare challenges.
The winners of the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, along with Honourable Mentions, will be announced during the IHF Awards Gala Dinner on 21 October 2026 at the 49th World Hospital Congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea, where more than 500 hospital and healthcare leaders from across the globe will gather to celebrate excellence in healthcare.
