UNICEF-Supported Pediatric Training at Indus Hospital Muzaffargarh
A UNICEF-supported pediatric capacity-building session was held at Indus Hospital, Muzaffargarh, bringing together pediatricians and fellows from across South Punjab to strengthen skills in neonatal and child healthcare.
Medical Director Dr. Shiraz Hassan addressed the participants, emphasizing that such trainings are vital for advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. Dr. Fayyaz Ahmed, Consultant Pediatrician, also attended the event alongside Dr. Athar Razzaq, Dr. Wasif Ijaz, and Dr. Syed Hassan Ahmed from Indus Hospital’s neonatology team.
The initiative reflected the strong partnership between UNICEF and the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) in enhancing pediatric care and promoting continuous learning for healthcare professionals across the region.
