Extending the Impact, Empowering Change — IHHN Conducts Breast Cancer Awareness Sessions Across Lahore
As part of its nationwide Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) organized a series of awareness sessions across prominent organizations and educational institutions in Lahore throughout October 2025.
The initiative reflected IHHN’s continued commitment to promoting awareness, education, and early detection, empowering individuals to make informed health decisions and helping break the stigma surrounding breast cancer.
Sessions were conducted at PakWheels, Systems Limited, University of Lahore, Interwood, J. (Junaid Jamshed), Stylers International Limited, Total Parco Pakistan, US Group (Denim), Ravi Autos, Millat Tractors, and International Learning Hub, engaging employees, students, and community members in meaningful discussions on women’s health and preventive care.
IHHN’s Family Medicine Specialists — Dr. Samra Shiraz, Dr. Salma Zainab, and Dr. Amna Javed — led the sessions, delivering insightful presentations on breast cancer risk factors, self-examination techniques, and the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment.
The campaign in Lahore began with a session at PakWheels, conducted by Dr. Amna Javed, setting a strong foundation for the month-long initiative. Dr. Samra Shiraz led sessions at Stylers International Limited and Total Parco Pakistan, engaging over 50 participants, while Dr. Salma Zainab conducted sessions at J. (Junaid Jamshed) and US Group (Denim), each attended by more than 40 participants.
Through these efforts, IHHN reaffirmed its mission to extend healthcare awareness and preventive education beyond hospital walls. The Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign — spanning Karachi, Multan, and Lahore — stands as a testament to IHHN’s belief that awareness saves lives, and informed communities build a healthier Pakistan.
