Faisalabad Joins the Spirit — Abacus Eleven Triumphs in IHHN’s 5th Annual Corporate Cricket Championship 2025

Carrying forward the momentum from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) brought the excitement and purpose of its 5th Corporate Cricket Championship 2025 to Faisalabad — a city known for its passion, teamwork, and community spirit.

Under the inspiring theme “Heads or Tails — Making Sure No Life Fails,” the championship once again united corporate leaders, cricket enthusiasts, and changemakers on one field — where every boundary hit and wicket taken translated into support for IHHN’s life-saving Emergency Services.

Hosted at Bohar Wali Ground, the Faisalabad leg featured eight spirited teams: Samba Bank, Mehr Estate, Askari Life Insurance, Alhamra Textile, NTU, NIU, Abacus, and Kashmir Wood Industries. The thrilling six-over, tape-ball knockout matches kept audiences on the edge of their seats, delivering two action-packed days of sportsmanship, unity, and compassion.

The semi-final face-offs saw fierce competition, with Abacus Eleven and Alhamra Textile emerging as finalists. In a high-energy grand finale, Abacus Eleven showcased remarkable skill and determination, securing the Faisalabad Championship Title for 2025 with a decisive victory.

The event attracted notable participation from corporate partners, sponsors, and community representatives, whose collaboration turned the championship into more than just a tournament — it became a symbol of hope and solidarity.

Funds raised from the Faisalabad leg will directly support IHHN’s Emergency and Outpatient Services, ensuring thousands of critically ill and underprivileged patients continue to receive free, quality, and timely medical care across Pakistan.

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Saeed Ajmal – Former Test Cricketer, serving as the Guest of Honor, commended IHHN’s unwavering humanitarian mission in the following words:

“It is remarkable that IHHN has been serving humanity with excellence and compassion for almost two decades now. I urge you all to stand with Indus so that free, quality healthcare becomes accessible to all. More than that, I hope one day Faisalabad too can have an Indus Hospital of its own.”

As the Faisalabad leg concluded, the energy and purpose now advance to Multan, the final city in this five-part journey — a testament to how passion for cricket and compassion for humanity can together make a powerful impact.
