The Delegation from State Bank of Pakistan & Bank of Punjab Praises Indus Hospital’s Compassionate, Paperless Model of Quality Care

A delegation from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Bank of Punjab (BOP) visited Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore, to witness how innovation and compassion come together to deliver quality, free healthcare for all.

Among the guests were Mr. Sarfraz Ahmed Nadeem, Senior Deputy Chief Manager, SBP BSC Lahore; Mr. Maqsood Hussain Bhatti, Assistant Chief Manager; Mr. Usman Nisar, Assistant Director; Mr. Ibrar Malik, Regional Branch Head; Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Saeed, Area Manager; Ms. Naureen Afshan, Branch Manager; Mufti Muhammad Umer Irfan, Resident Shariah Board Member; and Mufti Abdur Rehman, Shariah Scholar.

Welcomed by Mr. Faisal Baig, Head of Finance, and Mr. Syed Umair, Head of Operations, the guests began their visit with a guided hospital tour led by Mr. Waqas Ahmed, Manager MarCom – CRD, where they experienced how technology, efficiency, and empathy drive every aspect of patient care at Indus.

The delegation was particularly impressed by the hospital’s patient-centered approach and noted how every step — from registration to treatment — reflects respect for patients’ time, privacy, and comfort.

After the tour Mr. Tariq Azam, Executive Director, CRD – North, delivered a detailed presentation highlighting IHHN’s journey, its sustainable free-of-cost healthcare model, and the power of partnerships in expanding access to quality medical services nationwide.

Mr. Sarfraz Ahmed Nadeem, Senior Deputy Chief Manager, SBP BSC Lahore, admired the network’s mission, saying:

The visit concluded with a note of gratitude to the teams from SBP and BOP for their visit, encouragement, and shared commitment to making dignified, quality healthcare accessible to all.
