Indus Hospital & Health Network Marks 18 Years of Hope, Healing, and Humanity

Indus Hospital & Health Network proudly celebrated its 18th anniversary on August 11, 2025—honoring a journey that began with a single hospital and has grown into a compassionate, nationwide network delivering free, quality healthcare to millions.

Across IHHN, every department joined the celebrations, organizing team huddles, cake cuttings, and moments of reflection on the impact made over the years. Staff came together in shades of Indus blue, reaffirming the values that define our mission: empathy, integrity, and service. At the Communications & Resource Development (CRD) Department’s celebration, team members had the privilege of marking the occasion with Dr. Abdul Bari Khan (President) and Prof. Dr. Zafar Zaidi (CEO)—a reminder of the vision and leadership that have guided IHHN from its first day to today.

Speaking at the anniversary gathering, leadership emphasized, “Our growth is powered by the trust of the people and the dedication of our teams. Together, we will keep removing barriers to healthcare for every patient who needs us.” This year’s anniversary saw network-wide participation, with clinical, administrative, operations, supply chain, nursing, pharmacy, CRD, biomedical, and support teams hosting department-level celebrations across sites. The day reflected a shared purpose, as staff remembered the lives saved, the services expanded, and the new facilities added under the IHHN umbrella. Gratitude was expressed for colleagues, volunteers, donors, and partners whose generosity sustains free care, and each department renewed its commitment to strengthening patient experience, driving innovation, and expanding access to care in the year ahead.

From emergency care and surgery to transplant, maternal and child health, oncology, and community programs, IHHN’s journey has been fueled by compassion and the belief that healthcare with dignity should be accessible to all—at no cost to the patient.
