Family Dialysis Day Celebrated Successfully at IHHN Korangi Campus

The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) celebrated “Family Dialysis Day” with great enthusiasm and heartfelt participation on June 28, 2025, at its main Korangi Campus. The event aimed to recognize the strength, resilience, and untold stories of patients undergoing maintenance dialysis and to appreciate the unwavering support of their caregivers.

The celebration was graced by prominent medical professionals, including Dr. Ashar Alam, Consultant and Medical Director; Dr. Fivzia Hereker, Chair of Medicine and Allied; Dr. Salman Imtiaz, Head of Nephrology; Dr. Shoukat Memon; Dr. Faiza Saeed; and Dr. Shabana, Consultant Nephrologist. Their presence added to the inspiration and encouragement for the patients and their families.

The day featured touching stories shared by dialysis patients, highlighting their journeys, hopes, and challenges. An emotional yet uplifting art exhibition and live performances by patients reflected their creative spirit and resilience. Family members and caregivers were specially acknowledged for their vital role in the treatment and emotional well-being of their loved ones.

Among the dedicated dialysis team, Dr. Rabia Javed played a key role in crafting and organizing the entire program. She was ably supported by Dr. Zahid, Dr. Jhanzeb, dialysis in-charge Amjad, along with Tahir, Rehan, Khalid, and dialysis engineers Faheem and Shahid. Their collective efforts, alongside the entire team of dialysis doctors, technicians, and support staff, brought this meaningful celebration to life. The event was generously supported by RG Pharma, whose financial contribution helped make the day a memorable success.
