Sufiyan’s Journey: From Battling Cancer to Guiding Young Fighters
Sufiyan was just 12 when his life took a heartbreaking turn—he was diagnosed with blood cancer. His family couldn’t afford the costly treatment, and the emotional toll of isolation, pain, and fear consumed his childhood. He stopped going out, had no friends, and struggled with anger, asking, “Why me?”
But everything changed when Sufiyan came to Indus Hospital. Here, he received not only free, high-quality medical care, but also emotional and psychological support that helped him reclaim his life. Painting, counseling, and compassion filled the space where pain once lived.
Years later, Sufiyan returned to Indus—not as a patient, but as a counselor. Today, he supports young cancer patients just like he once was, sharing his story as living proof that healing is possible. He now leads a full life—working, laughing, and dreaming like any other person.
His journey reminds us that with the right support, every child can rise again—stronger, braver, and ready to give hope to others.
