Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Collaboration with CRD Multan Boosts Breast Cancer Awareness

In a significant initiative to raise breast cancer awareness, Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, in collaboration with the Communication and Resource Development (CRD) Department, Multan, held multiple awareness sessions. This effort reflects the Indus Hospital and Health Network’s commitment to excellence in healthcare and community well-being.

Led by expert speakers Dr. Sana Ehsan Ullah and Dr. Saima, the sessions provided essential insights on early detection, prevention, and the importance of regular screenings. The program emphasized not only physical health but also the value of family support and mental well-being for those impacted by breast cancer. Organized by Muhammad Mudassir Shah, Regional Manager of CRD, the sessions in Multan, reached wider range of the community, showcasing IHHN’s dedication to accessible health education and proactive care.

The General Surgery Department at RTEH also conducted various in-hospital activities to raise awareness about breast cancer among staff, reinforcing the importance of early detection and preventive care within the healthcare team. These efforts were made possible through the dedicated support of Dr. Irfan Javed, Head of Campus, and Dr. Shiraz Hassan, Medical Director of the hospital, whose commitment to fostering a culture of awareness and education has been invaluable in making this initiative a success.

This collaboration reflects the commitment to promoting community health by equipping individuals with knowledge to support breast cancer awareness and preventive care.
