Indus Hospital & Health Network’s Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed Represents Pakistan at the 4th International Congress on Emergency Medicine in Turkey

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is proud to announce that Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed, Head of the Emergency Department at Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civil Hospital Badin, managed by Indus Hospital and Health Network, represented Pakistan at the prestigious 4th International Congress on Emergency Medicine, organized by the Turkish Emergency Medicine Foundation, from October 23 to 26, 2024.

Dr. Sarfaraz, a distinguished member of our team and an accomplished emergency medicine Consultant, delivered an impactful lecture on “Crisis Resources Management in Trauma Care,” sharing insights into critical strategies and protocols essential for handling trauma cases effectively in stressful environment. He also led a focused workshop titled “Collaborative Advanced Trauma Care Course (CATC)” during the conference.

He also visited Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Şehir Hospital, in Istanbul later where he served as a guest speaker, delivering a lecture on “Primary Survey in Trauma Care.”

Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civil Hospital Badin, a government facility, has been under the management of Indus Hospital & Health Network to ensure enhanced healthcare services for the community.

Dr. Sarfaraz’s journey with IHHN is a testament to his commitment and dedication. After completing his residency with us in 2023, he achieved his FCPS in May 2024 and joined the Indus Badin ED team as a Consultant in September 2024. His participation in an international forum exemplifies IHHN’s mission to foster expertise that contributes to healthcare advancements globally and in Pakistan.

It is a proud moment for IHHN to see one of their own sharing expertise on such an influential platform. Dr. Sarfaraz’s contributions reflect the high caliber of the IHHN team and the impact they are making beyond borders.
