Empowering the Next Generation of Changemakers: iHope Volunteer Programs – Summer 2024

This summer, IHope Volunteer Programs welcomed three batches of dedicated volunteers – Batch 27, 28, and 29 – who embarked on a life-changing journey of service, learning, and camaraderie. From June to July, these enthusiastic volunteers came together to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
The three batches comprised 224 volunteers who underwent rigorous firefighting, first aid, and CPR training. These skills were tested as they participated in various volunteering activities, including interacting with patients, making memories, and raising a massive amount of funds for worthy causes.
Throughout their journey, the volunteers attended life-changing sessions that equipped them with valuable knowledge, skills, and perspectives. These sessions focused on topics such as emotional intelligence, team building, and leadership development. The interactions with patients and their families were particularly poignant, as the volunteers forged lasting bonds and gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those in need.

The culmination of their efforts was a remarkable fund-raising campaign, which saw the volunteers collectively raise a substantial amount of money for various causes. This achievement not only demonstrated their commitment to making a difference but also showcased their ability to work together towards a common goal.
