Curing cancer, through one of the nation’s largest

pediatric oncology units

11% of children with cancer in Pakistan receive no treatment, and only 30-35% survive the disease. We are working to change this reality by making high-quality cancer care accessible to every child.

Childhood cancer services are run by the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology department. Our mission is to raise childhood cancer survival in Pakistan to international standards. To achieve this, we provide comprehensive and integrated pediatric oncology services, supporting our youngest patients at every stage. By upholding the highest standards in diagnosis, research, treatment, and patient care, we continuously work to improve outcomes. With early detection and timely treatment, more than 80% of childhood cancers can be cured.

Holistic Care

Encompassing all facets of healing

IHHN provides the most in-depth psychosocial support for children and their parents going through the tribulations of cancer treatment. Our psychosocial department provides various services to alleviate this mental burden.

Hope is an important aspect of recovery; if you believe in a fighting chance for a full life, your body mimics the same resilience. Psychosocial support provides specialized care through support designed for deep, nuanced interventions for children and adults, ensuring that from treatment to recovery your child is in safe hands.

Intervention Verticals

The play area provides relief and fun in otherwise serious circumstances. The burden of disease shouldn’t stop the child from playing and having a good time. This relief is essential for community solidarity with other kids going through the same difficulties and helps them maintain a semblance of a healthy childhood.
Education is of vital importance in a young child’s life. Cancer treatments make it difficult for kids to continue their education. To fill this gap, IHHN provides schooling for kids, making sure that when they are all healed, they can resume their schooling.
While treating cancer itself is a strenuous process. There are many parents who cannot afford to even provide themselves with the basics considering the extensive cost of living in Karachi. To resolve this, IHHN provides lodging, food and transportation for economically insecure families who travel far and wide, seeking treatment for their children
