Inpatient Coding Training at Ziauddin Hospital
In 2020 we delivered comprehensive training on ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS inpatient coding to the Ziauddin Hospital Medical Records team. The training encompassed consistent, structured learning sessions and ICD-10 coding books and all necessary materials to facilitate the adoption of the coding processes. Additionally, we offered training on data extraction and the release of Medical Records reports.
Post training, we conducted on-site quality monitoring sessions to oversee and ensure the accurate application of ICD-10 coding standards. These sessions provided the opportunity to assess coding accuracy in real-time, address questions, and offer immediate feedback to the Medical Records team.
Shine Humanity OPD Coding Training
In 2024, IHHN-EMR conducted a detailed OPD coding training for Shine Humanity physicians covering software usage and OPD coding guidelines. There were hands-on case discussions during virtual sessions on regular basis entailing in-depth training on ICD-10-CM and CPT codes relevant to outpatient diagnosis and treatment. Post-training we provided support to address any additional questions and ensure sustained coding accuracy.
