IHHN on the Frontlines of Pakistan’s 2025 Flood Response
From the rugged mountains of Buner and Shangla in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the flooded plains of Punjab, Indus Hospital & Health Network has been on the frontlines of the 2025 flood response. As soon as the floods struck in late August, IHHN immediately mobilized its specialized teams and established medical camps across all flood-affected districts of KP and Punjab.
To date, IHHN has provided life-saving medical care to over 197,337 men, women, and children, ensuring that displaced and vulnerable families receive urgent treatment by establishing 1001 medical camps. Alongside general healthcare, IHHN deployed its Maternal Health on Wheels – a specialized Large Field Hospital – delivering antenatal care and maternal support directly at the doorsteps of affected communities and evacuee camps. These camps have also extended diagnostics including lab tests, ultrasounds, and X-rays to meet pressing health needs.
As Pakistan’s leading private sector hospital network, IHHN brings proven institutional capacity, medical expertise, and nationwide footprints to reach even the hardest-to-reach areas. In this time of crisis, IHHN remains fully prepared to stand with the people of Pakistan, delivering free, accessible healthcare when and where it is needed most.
